Rob graduated from Victoria's West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2010, having undergone studies in the intensive 3000-hour program. His interests/hobbies include cycling, olympic weightlifting and martial arts. This gives Robert an in-depth knowledge and experience with sports related injuries and prevention. Engaging in many physical activities on a daily basis requires him to be mindful of nutrition and recovery and he brings this education and encouragement to all of his patients. Robert's focus is on deep tissue massage and utilizes techniques such as isolytic release and muscle energy techniques. Along with his therapeutic treatments, he strives to provide each patient with knowledge and education on a healthier and more energetic lifestyle based on the individual's needs.
Robert has done Crossfit for three years and has his Crossfit level one certification. On top of improving and gaining new manual therapy skills, he plans to continue his education in olympic weightlifting, gymnastics, and Japanese and Brazilian jujitsu. He has volunteered as the massage therapist for the Crossfit Taranis team for several years as they competed in the Crossfit Games. Robert looks forward to working with the Total Body Chiropractic team and helping current and new patients.
